You feel controlled by anxiety and overwhelm yet you know you have deep wisdom inside of you. You're doing big things yet you still feel small. You find yourself worrying when you wish you could be present for the precious moments in your life. Do you feel like you are "not good enough" or make yourself small? Do judge yourself for feeling overwhelmed or needing time to recharge?

Liza provides therapy for people experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, and Highly Sensitive People (HSPs) using EMDR, body-based (somatic) practices, mindfulness, & talk therapy. She believes every human has innate wisdom inside of them, just sometimes it can be challenging to access that wisdom due to stress, anxiety, & the mental clutter of life. Liza believes her role as a therapist is to help clear the path to reconnect to what is already there. She works collaboratively with each person to bring a sense of curiosity, nonjudgmental awareness and kindness to thought patterns and behaviors, & through that awareness foster change.

Liza has always been fascinated by the experience of being human. She grew up practicing meditation, mindfulness, and yoga, which have greatly impacted the ways in which she sees the human experience. She believes that learning to ride different emotions without getting stuck in them or pushing them away can bring inner peace and sturdiness with what arises. Her experiences working in schools, residential programs, psychiatric hospitals, college counseling centers, and outpatient clinics have equipped her with tools & support to offer young adults, adults and parents.

All therapy sessions are 100% remote using HIPAA-compliant video sessions. You can feel calm, centered confident again!

Message to clients

It is a big and brave step to reach out for support. I hope you can celebrate that you are taking that first step! I see taking the step to find a therapist as the first step along the journey of listening to your needs and your truth.

Therapy is a space where you can settle in, the noise around you quiets down, you can get really quiet with yourself and listen to those parts that need your compassion and care. As you learn to listen and tend to those quiet parts inside of you (that might have a lot to say), you create space to step into your innate power, worth and truth. Together we create a container of compassion, curiosity, and and acceptance and it is through that where healing and growth can bloom.

I invite all parts of you (messy, sad, angry, joyous, scared, worried), to this space together. It would be an honor to join you and support you on this journey of growth. Great job l;istening to yourself and please reach out to learn more.
