Professional statement

Dr. Mansi Brat, LMHC, is trained in Jungian Psychology and Mindfulness-based therapies. Mansi also holds certifications in Life Coaching, Mindfulness Meditation, and Yoga. Mansi provides care in both New York & New Jersey.

Mansi has worked extensively with clients indicating identity related concerns at various life stages - emerging adulthood, new parenthood, mid and late-life crisis, sexual, and gender identity. Mansi works with existential concerns of finding meaning & purpose in life, relationship and career issues, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and trauma. Mansi deeply cares for her clients and connects with them on an individual level, uniquely tailoring their needs into the therapy session while seldom following an expert approach.

Mansi believes that many of life’s challenges stem from pre-conditioned ways of one’s personality. By recognizing how these pre-conditioned patterns are causing distress and by bringing those behaviors to the fore-front, clients can shift their consciousness into creating profound transformations. Mansi becomes the catalyst while empowering her clients in their personal journey of healing and restoration.

Mansi draws her therapy approach from integrative and holistic practices of the mind, body, and spirit. Mansi utilizes Psychodynamic theories, Positive Psychology, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness & other Complementary Alternative Medicine (CAMs) practices to garner a sense of wholeness and growth in her clients. Mansi currently holds space for a virtual practice and looks forward to meeting with you!

Message to clients

There are times in our lives when we feel that a similar pattern continues to repeat for us. No matter what we do or how we approach the situation, we find ourselves back in the same spot. We feel stuck, we feel lonely, and we feel that there is no end to this pain. These are instances when having a professional by your side can uplift your spirit, provide comfort, hope, and a willingness to shift from what is not working for us to what is it that we truly desire.

When things are not working for us - we also find ourselves resisting to what is showing up in the present, not accepting it, and giving much energy to the struggle. A tug of war within us generates even more resistance. Leading us down a long-winded alley of sadness, more stuck patterns, and unending pain. I work with my clients to recognize their ‘energy blocks’ that manifest in the form of physical, emotional, and spiritual pain to lead them to a place of clearing. During therapy sessions, we will co-create a collaborative relationship and a shared healing space.

I believe that you have great potential and when you tap into your inner resources, you can meet your ‘highest’ potential, transform yourself and ultimately Live the Life that You Love.
