Margaret Rocca is a New Hampshire Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), Massachusetts Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), and Vermont Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC Interim Telehealth) a who helps individuals through out adulthood, with a passion for helping clients in transitional periods of adulthood. Margaret has experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, relationship issues, & trauma and abuse. She believes in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion.
As a clinician, Margaret embraces a unique therapy approach, and borrows from many different theoretical bases for psychotherapy in aiming to understand and meet the individual needs of each person and of each couple. These theories include cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, reality-based, mindfulness-based and family systems theories. Techniques include dialogue, psycho education, relaxation, reframing of negative thoughts, positive decision-making, role-play, mindfulness or homework/assignments.
With a background in addiction and trauma Margaret works to bring a realistic approach to therapy. It is her goal to help clients utilize the tools they have, identify the tools need to change or improve, and provide support and challenging (when necessary) to help clients stay accountable towards change.
At this time Margaret conducts all of her sessions remotely via HIPAA-compliant software and includes Business Associate Agreements.

Starting January 2024 - I will be shifting my practice hours to accommodate new clients. I will now be available to take on new clients on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

All invoices are sent at the time of scheduling service, and payment is due the day before service is scheduled to occur. A 24 hour notice must be given for rescheduling appointments. A $50.00 fee will be assessed for any late cancellation or reschedule appointment requests. Missed appointments will result in charge of the full appointment fee.
