Professional statement

Dr. Nadine O'Reilly is a licensed psychologist in private practice in Englewood, NJ. She serves clients struggling with depression, anxiety, stress and trauma via in-person and virtual therapy sessions. She has been counseling adolescents and families in her role as school psychologist since 2003, and began her work with adults after completing her doctorate in 2011. Dr. O'Reilly is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Dr. O'Reilly's approach to therapy is eclectic and dependent on the individual client's needs. She is trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Theory (talk therapy), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Her work with EMDR has been especially well-received by first responders dealing with trauma-related struggles.

As an out-of-network provider, Dr. O'Reilly offers courtesy billing for all clients, eliminating the financial strain of upfront payment and the hassle of submitting paperwork to insurance for reimbursement. Her office is located at 163 Engle Street, 4B, Englewood, NJ 07631.

Message to clients

Since you're here, you're probably going through a lot right now and could use a friendly, experienced ally to help you navigate life. Let me assure you that you're in the right place and with the right clinician. My name is Dr. Nadine O'Reilly and I look forward to providing you with a safe space to be yourself, free from judgment or criticism - a haven from stress and pressure.

Clients have described me as a warm, all-embracing straight-shooter with a healthy sense of humor who is genuinely invested in my clients' journeys. I keep it real, so if you're tired of - or just not into - flowery, woo-woo therapy I'm your person. Nothing I've ever heard has shocked me...we've all got "stuff" and that's what makes us unique.

I practice from a person-centered perspective and I incorporate elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Psychodynamic Theory, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and EMDR with my clients (not all at once and rarely all with each, of course!). My training and background ensures that you get what you need. Whether you're struggling with sadness, nervousness, stress, or would like to process a trauma, I'm here for you every step of the way. When you're with me, your thoughts, feelings and perceptions are center stage, validated, and nurtured.
