Professional statement

I help people who feel ambivalent about their relationships. Are you uncertain about staying with your partner, having trouble deciding what boundaries to set with family, or curious about how to stop engaging in unhealthy patterns with others? Let’s work to find clarity on how you show up with others and how you try to get your needs met. By gaining insight into your childhood experiences and attachment styles, you will be able to make informed decisions so you can feel fulfilled in your relationships.

The existential approach Natalie uses helps clients accept the inevitable anxieties that come with being human while they make sense of their lives. Using reality therapy, Natalie will gently challenge you to think about how your choices impact your ability to live the life you want. Natalie also draws from a psychodynamic approach to help encourage deeper self-reflection and explore the purpose that recurring patterns serve in your life.

From your first point of contact, Natalie will focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship where you feel safe enough to dig deep and create meaningful change. She wants you to leave each session feeling fulfilled and validated instead of drained or traumatized. Your work together will be uplifting and healing while producing real results.

Message to clients

I love helping college students, young adults and professionals through anxiety and stress because I've been there myself. The quarter-life to early thirties crisis is real, but you can get to the other side. If you're struggling to adjust to post-grad life, have professional or grad school struggles, anxiety, or burnout, I can help. I am also passionate about working with people experiencing relationship issues and dissatisfaction, whether that's with roommates, friends, romantic partners, or family.

I want our sessions to be something you can look forward to instead of feeling like a chore. I create a space where nothing is off limits or taboo so you can show up as your most authentic self in order to dig deep and create meaningful change. We will explore how your past influences your present and future to help you understand yourself and the direction you are moving in.

Together we will identify your unmet needs and discover what needs to happen to make you feel fulfilled. We will focus on taking realistic steps to help you get unstuck and move forward towards a life that feels more authentic and freeing.
