Dr. Coffelt is a depth oriented psychologist specializing in the intersection of trauma, attachment and embodied healing . She is a certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and supports individuals and couples to shift into greater authenticity, pleasure and sovereignty . She works with many people that are outwardly high-functioning but internally navigating profound anxiety, relationship challenges, shutdown and/or difficulty feeling grounded and empowered in their personal lives .

She has 20 years of experience in private practice in San Francisco, LA and New York as well as community mental health and academic medical settings (e.g., UCSF and Stanford University) , has studied with shamans around the world and remains devoted to synthesizing ancient wisdom with cutting edge, evidence based approaches to therapy .
