Professional statement

Patrick Davin is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Greenwich, CT, who sees adults across the lifespan. He predominately works with individuals who are experiencing relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, and those engaged in self-destructive behaviors. He is also actively engaged with and consistently works with patients needing to process past or present trauma.

Patrick uses an eclectic mix of treatments with his patients alongside traditional talk therapy. He has extensive experience using Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, and Guided-Imagery Meditation.  He also has a background in the creative arts as an actor and writer, and he utilizes role play and drama-therapy techniques to further enhance exploration and healing with those who are comfortable with those modalities.

Patrick focuses on building a strong therapeutic relationship with his clients, always with one goal in mind: to help them experience personal growth and lasting change.  He received his M.A. from Fairfield University and his B.A. from Brandeis University. He looks forward to meeting you and being a partner on your journey.

Message to clients

My goals as a therapist are simple: To help you overcome your current problems through honest reflection and collaboration in an empathetic, non-judgmental and trusting therapeutic relationship. I want you to leave my office feeling stronger, more resilient, self-aware, and hopeful about your future. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, substance issues, a challenging transition like separation or divorce, or just the day-to-day stress of managing life, we'll work together to find the solutions that will ease your symptoms and, most importantly, help you heal and grow.

I regularly counsel patients dealing with relationship and family problems, those contemplating separation or divorce, as well as those struggling with destructive personal behaviors, anxiety, and depression. I additionally work with clients who have experienced trauma and many wanting to improve their self-worth.

My passion for counseling is rooted simply in a desire to help people heal and find a path to happiness. I have a flexible, eclectic, and creative approach that's designed to meet your individual needs. Your goals are my goals-let's reach them together.
