Professional statement

Paul specializes in helping clients deal with arguments, disagreements, and miscommunications in a healthy, productive way. Whether they’re experiencing interpersonal challenges at work or at home, Paul’s clients can expect to gain a new perspective on conflict and learn practical communication skills for reaching a resolution.

Paul’s approach is rooted in CBT, which focuses on addressing the beliefs, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors preventing clients from feeling truly confident and in control. When it comes to handling disagreements, Paul uses CBT to unpack clients’ unconscious patterns around conflict, which are often formed throughout childhood.

He also works with clients to confront these patterns and construct new ones. Through this process, clients respond to conflicts more effectively, enhance their relationships, and improve their quality of life.

Message to clients

Disputes. Disconnection. Disagreement. Whatever you want to call it, conflict is a reality of every relationship. It’s impossible for people to agree on everything, so we all eventually find ourselves in situations where our needs, values, and perspectives differ from the people in our lives.

Some of us shy away from difficult conversations, while others are quick to become aggressive or escalate the situation. If it isn’t handled in a healthy way, conflict can rupture bonds. My practice focuses on empowering people to work through conflict constructively using a practical approach emphasizing healthy interpersonal connection.

Instead of distancing ourselves, we can create opportunities to grow and establish more trusting, satisfying relationships.
