Raquel Molina-Ravenna is a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker (#70124) whose practice focuses on working with young adult women/men, and college students having a hard time transitioning to college life. She also works with individuals who oftentimes struggle with frequent self-defeating beliefs or negative self talk, which prevents them from following through with goals, dreams and living to their ultimate potential. Raquel has an understanding of and appreciates helping Hispanic/Latinx clients explore ideas and identify barriers where cultural beliefs may interfere with a person's mental health and personal growth.
Raquel is a mindfulness-based therapist and likes to utilize a strengths-based approach by incorporating a personalized treatment plan with her clients to set goals, and discuss ways in how to improve their life. Raquel is trained in various treatment modalities, such as CBT, Brainspotting, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Mindfulness-based Therapy and Somatic Experiencing. She likes to utilize different types of treatment approaches specific to her client's unique needs.
Raquel's office is located in the area of Woodland Hills, however she will gladly provide Telehealth services for those who are experiencing barriers coming into the office. Clients are able to log in for their sessions from their computer, tablet or mobile device via secure platform.
