Rebecca Brasch is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who specializes in working with teenagers, young adults, and adults who struggle with ADHD or stress. Many of Rebecca’s clients feel paralyzed by their stress. They are overwhelmed by the amount of pressure placed on them, whether that’s pressure from relationships, parenthood, work, or family. This stress may arise during periods of transition when they must face change, which leaves them feeling on edge and restless. Rebecca also works with those who have low self-esteem and would like to work on their assertiveness.
Rebecca practices Equine Assisted Therapy, a therapy modality that combines caring for horses with psychotherapy. Rebecca gently encourages clients to express their emotions and to talk about what’s bothering them. Through Animal Assisted Therapy, clients have an outlet and find themselves feeling an emotional release. Rebecca also guides clients through identifying what’s important to them, including their values, and making life decisions that align with these values. She creates a safe, comfortable atmosphere in therapy so that clients can explore their feelings without feeling judged or ashamed.
Rebecca began her career in law enforcement. She has additional training in supporting those in the military and their families. She decided to go into counseling because she loves helping people and enjoys helping them grow.
