Professional statement

Dr. Price is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Lakewood, Colorado, who specializes in working with individuals and couples, struggling with adjustment (to both life circumstances and/or human development), anxiety, panic, ADHD, and/or trauma related consequences. He also has extensive expertise in providing family therapy as well as parent training.

Dr. Price frequently utilizes a combination of approaches to, not only help his clients learn how to express how they are feeling and what challenges they are facing, but to heal, grow, and live better lives. Knowing that everyone is unique, he adjusts his approach to meet the needs of the person, and the developmental stage they are living. He strives to be mindful of the natural processes involved and collaborate with each person. He approaches this work with the belief we are not bad or damaged, we are often struggling with unusual circumstances or abnormal events, having normal human reactions. He has found that working with nature and its principles is the healing path.

He has been trained in many psychological approaches and ways of communicating and helping treat people’s struggles. He does not rely only on English language to communicate important information. He knows that very important information is often communicated through art, play, dreams, journaling, and/or behavior.

The work is guided by what the person or couple wants to achieve. He works to help people understand their “stuckness” and find ways to create or co-create improved lives. If a client wants big changes, or to modify an aspect of their life, the more important work is usually in healing, thinking, and behaving differently.

Dr. Price received his PsyD from the University of Denver, Graduate School of Professional Psychology, in 1993. His office is conveniently located in Lakewood, Colorado

Message to clients

For people who decide to work with & trust me: I help you identify blocks, pain, limiting patterns, or pitfalls and use them as stepping stones, or heal them, to create/transform life into one you value and enjoy more - a life you might not have been able to envision before.

After over a year of Telehealth, I have found (and research bears this out) that some people do very well with Telehealth, while others need in-person appointments for maximum healing and growth. I use a mix of Telehealth and in-person meetings designed to fit each person's needs.
