Victoria Breda is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Rhode Island. She works with individuals aged 18 and older. Many of Victoria’s clients come in to address anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and maternal mental-health. Victoria is particularly passionate about helping individuals identify strengths, improve relationships, and navigate stressful life events.
By utilizing a trauma-informed multidisciplinary approach, Victoria works with clients to identify how their past experiences have shaped their present reality. Even if an individual has no history of traumatic life experiences, this approach allows clients to identify patterns and explore how history contributes to identity. Victoria also regularly utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to analyze the impact thoughts and feelings have on behavior and works with clients to challenge and reframe their inner monologue.
In session, Victoria takes a strengths-based approach to empower clients to find balance and control in their daily life. Her main focus is to create an inclusive and non-judgmental space for clients to feel comfortable. Victoria received her MSW and CAGS from Rhode Island College. She also has advanced training in supporting individuals who have experienced trauma. Outside of private practice, she enjoys indoor/outdoor gardening and exploring Rhode Island with her dog.
