Wren Bleisch is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, providing virtual therapy services to clients throughout the state. She works with individuals navigating the effects of family dysfunction or abuse, church hurt, significant life transitions, and the anxiety, depression, and emotional challenges that often accompany traumatic experiences.
Wren’s therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and creative. She believes meaningful healing happens within a supportive relationship where clients feel seen, understood, and empowered. Together, she and her clients explore the emotions, body sensations, thoughts, and memories that may be contributing to distress. Her work focuses on understanding how past relationships and experiences continue to shape present-day emotions, behaviors, and patterns of dysregulation. Along the way, she offers both compassionate support and practical tools to help clients move toward greater resilience, self-understanding, and lasting change.
Wren is particularly passionate about supporting clients who are struggling with emotional regulation, relationship difficulties, and the impacts of systemic oppression on women, LGBTQ+ individuals, and marginalized communities. Many of her clients come to therapy seeking greater balance and nervous system regulation, a deeper understanding of past experiences, or freedom from perfectionism, self-criticism, and comparison. Clients often report experiencing a sense of relief and renewed hope within the first few sessions.
Wren practices with cultural humility and a deep respect for the diversity of human experiences. She is committed to fostering an inclusive and affirming therapeutic environment where all individuals feel welcome. Rather than viewing symptoms or behaviors through a lens of judgment, Wren approaches them with curiosity and compassion, helping clients understand how these adaptations may have served an important purpose while supporting them in creating greater balance, flexibility, and well-being in their lives.
