To those looking to begin therapy I would encourage you to give it a try and expect to learn a lot about yourself. We all face difficult experiences in life but we do not have to face them alone. Working with a therapist offers you a private, boundaried relationship in which to explore thoughts and feelings that might be difficult to share with others in your life.

I would also encourage you to shop around, speak to several potential therapists, and work to find a therapist who is a good fit for you. There are so many styles of therapy and personalities of therapists out there. Trust yourself and keep looking until you find the right provider for you.

If you have any questions or are interested in setting up an introductory call with me, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I look forward to hearing from you.

No matter the reason you are investing in therapy, finding the right fit with a therapist is key. My approach to therapy is practical, genuine and collaborative. I really enjoy helping people identify their strengths, change problematic thought patterns, and feel overall more confident about how their life is going.
