This skills coaching group is for Adults experiencing Anxiety, Depression, Emotional Dysregulation, Interpersonal conflict, life stressors and anyone wishing to learn DBT Skill set. We will meet weekly for 90 minutes. The group will cover the four DBT modules: Core Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness Skills.

In this nonjudgmental space individuals will explore their substance use with others. They also will be empowered to create a “new normal” that enhances their well-being, by incorporating new and healthier life choices.

Dr. Jennifer Smith leads this group in discussions examining the positive and negative consequences of alcohol use and will integrate mindfulness meditation practices into an exploration of motivation to change and traditional relapse prevention.

This eight-week group for Cis and Trans Women of Color ages 25-40 will focus on the basics of trauma and its impact on people’s spirits, minds and bodies in the moment and over time. It will also help to break down the stigma surrounding traumatic experiences and responses. In addition to discussing healthy coping strategies and self-care, the group will explore their individual pathways to imaginative power and provide safe space for creative healing possibilities.

Octave’s grief and bereavement group will provide a supportive environment for those who have experienced the loss of a loved one. Surrounded by those who are facing a similar range of emotions, group members will receive and offer emotional support, while gaining an understanding of the stages of grief.
The stress management group is a small (five participants) skills-based group. While emotional support will organically be provided, the purpose of this group is to have participants learn a diverse range of relaxation tools and techniques to reduce stress and optimize day-day functioning.
This 10-week group is for people in their 20s and 30s who have lost a sibling (half, step, full, etc.) to a drug overdose or suicide. This group creates a space for sibling survivors to support each other and help participants find meaning in life after loss.
