Professional statement

Aubree is a therapist in Seattle, WA specializing in sex therapy and relationships. She sees couples and individuals looking to work on areas related to sex therapy such as low or mismatched desire/libido, painful sex, anorgasmia, sexual anxiety, sexual trauma, erectile dysfunction, and out-of-control sexual behavior. She also helps clients address relationship challenges and strengthen communication and feelings of security, desire, connection, and love.

Aubree practices identity and relationship affirming therapy and welcomes LGBTQIA clients, clients of color and diverse cultural backgrounds, kinky clients, and clients with alternative love styles such as polyamory and other ethically non-monogamous dynamics. Aubree uses an approach based on Emotion-Focussed and Narrative therapies. She helps clients to understand and communicate their emotional experiences and examine their relationships with themselves and others. Aubree is collaborative in her work and often works in conjunction with sexual health specialists, physical therapists, gynecologists, and urologists.

Aubree has been in private practice since 2017 and is passionate about helping clients address any sexual and/or relationship concerns they may have. After she received her MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pacific Lutheran University in 2017, Aubree went on to complete the Holistic Sex Therapy program at the Institute of Sexuality Education and Enlightenment in 2021 and become an AASECT certified sex therapist. She is uniquely trained in a relational and holistic approach to mental health and sexual wellbeing.

Aubree provides online video therapy sessions to Washington residents through a convenient telehealth platform. Log in from the comfort of your own space on a computer, phone, or another device.

Message to clients

I believe healthy sexual experiences should include presence, embodiment, connection, mutual respect, consent, pleasure, acceptance, open communication, empathy, exploration, authenticity, and vulnerability. This belief is at the core of my therapeutic approach and goals in sex therapy. My goal is to go beyond the treatment of sexual function issues using a holistic, relational approach. I hope to work with you toward your goals by exploring your relationships with yourself, your sexuality, and your partner(s).

Sexual shame and harmful societal narratives can make it difficult to explore sex and sexuality. It can often be helpful to explore harmful messages related to sexual function, “normality”, and performance that may add to anxiety or feelings of pressure around sex. My hope is to provide a safe space to work on the challenges you may be facing and break down shame related to sex to maximize your relationship and sexual satisfaction.
